Currently, Emraan Hashmi, who is playing the role of second-in-command of the Border Security Force (BSF), Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey in the film Ground Zero has won the hearts of the viewers. This makes him depict the seriousness, determination, and emotion that is associated with the staking secretive missions of the military. The movie’s narrative is also intense and the emotional foundation is also profound, two aspects which have aided the movie in gaining more steam, all things considered, despite the fierce competition at the box office.
The information provided by Sacnilk shows that Ground Zero was able to gross ₹1.15 crore on the first day of its release. The first day collection was not very high but there was a good rise in the second day and the film grossed ₹1.90 crore. This has brought the total collection of the film to ₹3.05 crore within the first two days of its release. The Hindi version of the movie has been doing comparatively better and, on April 26 it had an overall occupancy of 13.64%: morning shows had only 5.60%; afternoon shows increased it to 14.99%; evening shows were 13.62% whereas night shows had the highest percentage of 20.34%.

The movie has received a good response from the northern states of India where issues like security of the nation and protectionism are well appreciated. Among the cities with high occupancy, there were major cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, and Jaipur among many others while the southern cities had a lower occupancy rate. As for the distribution of the box office collections, Tier-1 cities are dominating the first weekend, but the movie is also collecting a good amount from Tier-2 and Tier-3 suggesting that Ground Zero has a universal appeal among all classes of audiences.
Taking its current performance into consideration, it is safe to assume that the picture will maintain its growth path over the weekends. If the trend continues in such a manner, there are good chances that the movie Ground Zero could earn more than ₹10 crore in the first one week of its release. Nevertheless, the mid-week sales will be a good predictor of extended box office performance of the film. If it is able to sustain an audience and keep the buzz going, Ground Zero could easily turn into one of those games people did not expect to be good but ended up becoming quite popular in 2025.
