The Great Flood Movie Plot & Storyline
The Great Flood movie told the story of smart scientist An-na, and her young son who is trapped in their high-rise apartment after a giant asteroid hits Earth and causes a massive flood. When the water rapidly rises and swallows the city of Seoul, Then a security agent named Hee-jo arrives to rescue the scientist An-na because her research is vital for the future of humanity and it is very helpful. The first half of the movie is a tense race against time, showing the mother and son trying to survive the freezing water and collapsing building while waiting for a helicopter to save them.
Overall the story surprisingly turn when the movie shows that the disaster is actually a computer simulation being repeated over and over again. And the world has already been destroyed and the scientists are using An-na’s memories to train an advanced AI to understand human love and sacrifice. Every time An-na fails to save her son, the program resets and she has to start the terrifying day all over again.
